Film Racing began as a competition called NYC Midnight Movie Making Madness in 2002 and has expanded to 20 cities throughout North America and over 1,500 films have been created as part of the competitions. The Houston/Austin Producer, Adam Donaghey, will present selections from past Film Race events and answer any questions about the upcoming Houston Film Race weekend October 1-2! The first Thursdays short film evening is always a great networking opportunity or simply a chance to get together with or meet new filmmakers and creative people. Interview with NYC 24 Hour Film Race Teams 2010


Every first Thursday of the month we will have a FREE screening of Texas-made short film entries from the Houston Film Commissions Texas Filmmakers Showcase or from other film festivals. The one hour-ish screening will begin at 8:30PM. Come see some great films that you may never get to see again or to just talk film.
